Welcome back to Jackin. Ive got a really inspired mix for you this month. Ill be heading down to Burning Man again. I have been very fortunate in that I have had the opportunity to contribute to the culture of burning man. I have been involved in many different projects throughout the years from temple building to ambient soundscape installations to bangin' it out after the burn for 800 or so burners and a few manataurs to boot. So, for this months Jackin show Id like you to put on your headphones, close your eyes and take a trip with me to the playa of Black Rock city, Jackin' style. See you on the playa!! <cr>

Glad you made it back! So, it just hit me the other day how many great soulful house shows there are on Podomatic. Its seems that Podomatic is becoming the go to website for quality soulful house music. I want to mention a couple of my favorite shows. dj Crookid has a great show of seemlessly long blends of some seriously deep house music. Ive been using up all his bandwidth listening to his show almost daily. One of our oldest podomatic friends and another favorite show is dj Francesca's podcast. This NY dj really brings the heat. Finally, check out Double Dee's podcast. Deep soulful and techy, just the way we like it. We love our Podomatic family and this show is dedicated to all our friends and all our fellow podomatic soulful house djs. <CR>

Welcome to the Mayday edition of Jackin'. This show brought to you strictly on vinyl. After doing a little research on Mayday, all I could gather was it is a good excuse for a rowdy party. Spring is definitely in the air up here in the pacific northwest and everyone is ready to come out of their houses, strip off their gore-tex rain gear and have a dance. Hopefully Jackin' will be playin at your Mayday celebration. This episode we've some hot new tracks from Dennis Ferrer, Shake the Dog, Soni and a lot of forgotten gems. Like I said in an earlier show, dust off those old crates and find the treasures you might have forgotten. Bring em out and play em and give em new life. Underground dance music moves so quick, dont forget about all those older tracks with enough heat to still cook a smore over.

I glad to report that were back with one of our hottest shows ever. Were dedicating a nice chunk of the show to the cast and crew of the NYC Wicked tour. Its nice to have out of towners support our local house music scene and in the case of this broadway musical talent, tear the sh*t out of the dancefloor. We wanna welcome the mighty t dazzler to our humble city. He is another link in the chain of soulful underground house. We're very proud to bring you an all vinyl mix today. cmon keep vinyl alive.

96.7fm Jackin' episode 3

<img src="http://jackin.podOmatic.com/mymedia/thumb/1099403/0x0_1241007.jpg" alt="itunes pic" /><br />Hey there house heads. Welcome to another episode of Jackin' This episode was originally broadcast here in Portland Oregon in september of 2005 on pirate radio 96.7fm. We are posting some of our favorite shows from our pirate radio broadcast for you to enjoy as we head to our official podcast launch in the beginning of 2008. When I listen to this show I realize how fast our dance music community moves and how easy it is for quality tunes to just get lost in the shuffle. So many times DJs just forget about older music in an effort to "stay current" Im here today to say dig in your crates and pull out those long forgotten gems. play them and give them new life. A good tune is timeless. Have a listen. Peace.
